This describes how Rinforza actually operates today and is published so the practice is visible. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel and is not legal advice. Questions: hello@rinforza.ai.
1. Who we are
Rinforza LLC is a North Carolina company. We provide marketing software to retailers: a customer database that combines point-of-sale and e-commerce records, and the email, text-message, loyalty and review tools that run on top of it. Contact us at hello@rinforza.ai.
2. Two different roles, and which one applies to you
Almost all the personal information Rinforza touches belongs to our customers, not to us. Which role we are in determines who you should contact about your data.
When a retailer uses Rinforza (we are a service provider)
The retailer decides what data to collect and why. We process it on their instructions to deliver the service. If you are a shopper who received an email from a retailer using Rinforza, that retailer holds your information and is the right party to contact about access, correction or deletion. We help them respond, and we do not use their customer data for our own purposes, to build any cross-customer profile, or to train models.
When you visit rinforza.ai or contact us (we are the controller)
For this website and for sales enquiries, we decide how the information is handled. That part is small and described in section 4.
3. What we process on a retailer's behalf
- Identity and contact details: name, email address, postal address, phone number.
- Purchase history from the retailer's point-of-sale and online store, including items, amounts and dates.
- Marketing engagement: whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked, and unsubscribe and consent records.
- Activity on the retailer's own website, recorded through first-party signed links and a first-party cookie. IP addresses are stored only as an irreversible hash.
We do not buy personal information, and we do not sell or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. What this website collects
This site sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or third-party scripts of any kind. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting, and we keep the emails you send us so we can reply. Nothing on this site tracks you.
5. Email and text messages
Marketing email is delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service. Every message carries a working unsubscribe link and a one-click unsubscribe header, and an opt-out is recorded permanently so it survives any later data reload. Text messaging requires separate, explicit opt-in and is not switched on at the time of writing.
6. Who else is involved
- Amazon Web Services - hosting and email delivery, United States.
- Shopify - where a retailer's online store runs on it.
- Advertising platforms (for example Meta and Google) - only when a retailer instructs it, and identifiers are cryptographically hashed before they are sent.
- Twilio - for text messaging, once a retailer enables it.
7. Where data is held, and for how long
Data is stored in the United States. We keep it for as long as the retailer's agreement with us requires, and delete or return it when that agreement ends. One deliberate exception: we retain suppression records - the list of people who opted out - indefinitely, because deleting them is what causes someone to be emailed again after they asked us to stop.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted and credential-controlled, customer records are held with owner-only file permissions, tracking links are cryptographically signed, and databases are backed up daily with verification. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
9. Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message; it takes effect immediately and permanently.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your information, or to opt out of certain processing. If a retailer sent you the message, contact them first - they hold the data and we will assist them.
- You can always write to hello@rinforza.ai and we will route your request appropriately.
10. Children
Rinforza is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly process the personal information of anyone under 16.
11. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where a retailer agreement requires it, notify our customers directly.
